SurvivorView Terms of Service

Effective date: October 7, 2026

Welcome to SurvivorView. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of SurvivorView’s website, live room service, and related features (collectively, the “Service”).

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use SurvivorView.

1. Who may use SurvivorView

You must be at least 18 years old and located in the United States to create an account or use the Service.

You must provide accurate account information, keep your login credentials secure, and promptly notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account.

2. What SurvivorView does

SurvivorView is a browser-based companion that lets a small group of players create or join a private room and share selected game-window video with one another.

SurvivorView is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to any game publisher, platform, or trademark owner.

The Service is not an in-game overlay, does not read game memory, and does not automate gameplay.

3. Screen sharing and room participation

You choose whether to share a window through your browser’s screen-sharing controls. SurvivorView is designed for sharing one game window at a time and does not intentionally request microphone audio.

You are responsible for selecting the correct window and ensuring that the material you share is appropriate and lawful. Do not share private conversations, personal information, financial information, copyrighted content you are not permitted to share, sexually explicit content, or content that violates another person’s rights.

Other participants in your room can view the stream you choose to share. Do not share anything you would not want room participants to see.

SurvivorView does not record or store game-window video by default. Video is transmitted in real time between participants or, where necessary, through a connection relay service to establish a reliable connection.

4. Your conduct

You may not use SurvivorView to:

  • Harass, threaten, impersonate, stalk, discriminate against, or abuse another person.

  • Share unlawful, obscene, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise harmful content.

  • Collect, record, distribute, or misuse another participant’s stream or personal information without permission.

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, another account, a room, or related systems.

  • Interfere with the Service, bypass security measures, scrape the Service, or use bots to create accounts or rooms.

  • Use the Service for a commercial purpose without our written permission.

  • Violate applicable law, another person’s rights, or these Terms.

We may investigate reports and may remove content, restrict rooms, suspend, or terminate accounts when we reasonably believe these Terms or applicable law have been violated.

5. Reports and safety

The Service may offer a way to report a player or room participant. Please provide truthful, good-faith reports. We may review report information, take action at our discretion, and preserve information when reasonably necessary for safety, abuse prevention, or legal compliance.

Reporting is not a substitute for contacting emergency services or law enforcement when there is an immediate danger.

6. Donations and future paid features

SurvivorView may link to Ko-fi or another third-party donation platform. Donations are voluntary and are handled by that provider under its own terms and privacy policy.

SurvivorView does not currently sell subscriptions or memberships. If we introduce paid, ad-free, or other paid features later, we will present the applicable price and terms before charging you.

7. Ownership

SurvivorView and its software, branding, design, and original content are owned by SurvivorView and its operator and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You retain ownership of content you share. You grant SurvivorView a limited, non-exclusive right to transmit that content solely as necessary to operate the Service for the room you join.

8. Service availability

SurvivorView is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, secure, uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every browser, network, computer, or game.

Connection quality depends on factors outside our control, including your device, browser, internet connection, router, firewall, VPN, and the networks of other room participants.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SurvivorView disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, [Legal Business Name] and its owners, employees, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or use arising from or related to the Service.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

10. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SurvivorView and its owners and operators, employees, and service providers from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, content you share, violation of these Terms, or violation of another person’s rights.

11. Suspension and termination

You may stop using SurvivorView at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk for other users or the Service, or are required to do so by law.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as SurvivorView evolves. If changes are material, we will post the updated Terms with a new effective date and may provide additional notice through the Service. Continuing to use SurvivorView after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

6. Your choices and privacy rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at [Support Email Address].

Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have additional rights to know, access, correct, delete, or appeal a decision regarding your personal information. We will respond to requests as required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

To appeal a privacy-rights decision, reply to our response or email [Privacy Email Address] with the subject line “Privacy Appeal.”

You may stop sharing your screen at any time through SurvivorView or your browser controls. You may also manage certain cookie settings in your browser, although disabling necessary cookies may affect Service functionality.

10. Third-party sites

The Service may link to third-party services, including Ko-fi. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for third-party privacy practices.
